Current: Helping biotech companies build teams. With 8 years of recruiting experience and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, I bring something most recruiters can’t: I actually understand the work. I partner closely with executive hiring managers to cut through the noise, set honest expectations, and find people who are genuinely the right fit, not just the right resume. I care as much about the candidate experience as I do about delivering for my clients, and I think that’s what makes the difference.
Past: Started as a scientist, ended up falling in love with the people side of science. My engineering background gave me the ability to evaluate candidates with a depth that most recruiters simply don’t have access to, and it turns out biotech companies really notice that. I’ve worked with small start-ups with just a few employees and also clinical stage companies with over 100 employees. My experience includes time at an RPO firm and time as an intendent contract recruiter, and I’ve mastered a variety of ATS systems, job boards, email providers, and workspace tools. I enjoy developing new processes and improving old ones, while keeping everything organized.
Future: A slightly quieter/cleaner house (someday), more time on stage with my band, and a garden that actually cooperates for once.
